Community and Industry Involvement
Richard is a past president of the NAIFA Arkansas chapter. Formerly the Arkansas State Association of Life Underwriters, the Arkansas chapter of NAIFA represents financial service agents in the state. Their mission is to provide leadership in sustaining and improving the business and political environment, while helping agents enhance their professional skills and promote ethical conduct those involved in insurance and related financial services.

Richard is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). AALU was founded in 1957 and today has over 2,000 members. Their mission is to preserve, promote and protect the planning of advanced life insurance.

Richard is the Past President of the local chapter of the High Noon Toastmasters Club in Arkansas where he earned the Distinguished Toastmaster designation and enjoys helping mentor other members. The mission of the club is to provide a positive learning experience in which members will develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
